Loren & Peyote
Loren Kim joined Chesapeake Search Dogs in 2019. She is currently an Operational Flanker and Operational K9 Handler with Peyote. She has NASAR SARTECH II and NASAR WFA certifications. She is a CGC evaluator and the team obedience trainer. She also serves as the technology coordinator, building websites and widgets for the team. She is in college studying computer science on a pre-medicine track. She splits her time in the woods with Peyote, working, and studying.
Peyote vom Haus Morrisson (Peyote) is a German Shepherd dog that holds NASAR HRD Land Other certification, NASAR Canine SARTECH III Area Search, Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog Novice, and Farm Dog titles. She joined Chesapeake Search Dogs in 2021 and became an operational wilderness air scent K9 in 2022 and an operational land HRD K9 in 2024. She is also a registered and certified therapy dog. She often visits hospice centers and hospitals on the weekends with Loren. She is an intense working dog with amazing drive. She loves her canine sister (Violet), her squeaky balls, and her handler, Loren.
