
Amanda and Wilkie
Amanda Kramer joined Chesapeake Search Dogs in 2024. She is working to become an operational flanker and an operational K9 handler with her partner, Wilkie. Amanda holds an Amateur Radio Technician License, a NASAR SARTECH II certification, and has her Maryland Search Team Member certification through the Maryland Natural Resources Police Safety Education Unit. Amanda lives in Baltimore with her husband, Jason, and her two dogs, Wilkie and Clarice. She is the Associate Director/Administration, Research, & Technology with the Loyola Notre Dame Library in Baltimore. In her free time, she loves visiting with her grown-up kids, Caldie, Dawson, and Donovan, and loves swimming, hiking, and knitting.
Wilkie is a chocolate Labrador Retriever and began training with Chesapeake Search Dogs in 2024. When not training, Wilkie loves eating, visiting with children, and playing with his sister Clarice.
